We are on the route for the annual Roller Coaster Yard Sale [held the first full weekend in October] and the Highway 52 Yard Sale in May.
Retiring in Clay County still offers the convenience of being close to the big cities. Clay County is within an hour of Cookeville. Bowling Green, Chattanooga, Lexington, Louisville, Knoxville, and Nashville are within two hours of driving distance. All cities host museums, entertainment, restaurants, and amusement parks that are just a short drive away.
